A teacher with 14 years of service in the education sector of Qom province has been dismissed.
The Central Selection Board, upon a second review, deemed Seyed Reza Badri "unfit for general selection," prompting the termination of his employment.
The Secretariat of the Central Selection Committee emphasized that while the decision does not preclude future participation in ministry recruitment tests, any objections must be lodged with the Court of Administrative Justice within three months.
The board declared Badri's employment unauthorized, urging Qom's education authorities to heed this verdict.
Badri, 48, holds a bachelor's degree in general psychology.
Another teacher cited instances of dismissals for trivial reasons, highlighting the government's apparent agenda to replace teachers with clerical forces.
Despite the ongoing teacher shortage crisis, the Ministry of Education under the Ebrahim Raisi administration seems inclined towards hiring clerics and seminary students as "educational teachers" instead of addressing the crisis directly.
